Last Real Class

Tonight we presented our Web 2.0 presentations and did student/teacher evaluations.

Next week, our lesson plan assignments are due and we have an online quiz to complete (includes entire semester!!!!!).

3rd to Last Class = )

We were very hands on today...

We explored kid pix, photo booth, inspiration/kidspiration, iphoto, and garageband.

As a class, we discussed how to use these in the classroom to get kids interested and motivated to learn.

CLASSS

These last few classes have been about desktop publishing (newsletter and brochure), podcasting, and now, tonight, we are learning about Bloom's Taxonomy.

Up the pyramid of Bloom's Taxonomy...

1. knowledge: recall or recognition of a statement

2. comprehension: understand, translate, paraphrase, interpret, or extrapolate material

3. application: use information and transfer knowledge from one setting to another

4. analysis: identifying detail and having the ability to discover and differentiate the component parts of a situation or information

5. synthesis: combine parts to create the big picture

6. evaluate: judge the value or use of information using appropriate criteria (support judgement with reason).
